Samsung Galaxy Watch Owners Face Frustration Over Google Play Services
Samsung Galaxy Watch owners are currently facing a frustrating issue. On platforms like Reddit and Facebook, users are reporting a significant decrease in battery life, with multiple users sharing screenshots that indicate Google Play Services are consuming an unusually high amount of energy.
This problem seems to affect almost all models, from the Galaxy Watch 3 to the Watch 8 Classic. Some users suspect that the issue is linked to the latest security update from Samsung, while others blame Google. Regardless of the cause, the battery drain is a major concern.
One Reddit user reported that the battery life of their Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 has dropped from four to just two days. Similar complaints have been made for other models, including the Watch 3, 5 Pro, 7, and the Classic versions 6 and 8.
Samsung and Google have yet to provide a solution. In the meantime, users can try clearing the cache of Google Play Services and restarting their devices. This might help alleviate the issue.
